Hi! I'm Kelsey.
I am into fitness. Fun fitness. But I'm not a trainer, although I have had one in the past. I'm not a doctor, I've gone to one of those in the past as well. I'm definitely not certified to teach any sort of fitness instruction, but I love to try out any and every new class that comes my way.
The idea for this blog started when I read and article about 33 fitness classes that were new and trendy (you can read the original Self article here). I wanted to try each and every one. I even printed out the list to keep with me in my daily planner. I took 2 of the classes on that list (Soul Cycle and The Barr Method) and found myself recording all of the stats such as how many calories I burned and how expensive it was and would I go back.
Then it hit me...
Why should I be the hoarder of this valuable information??
So many people are in my same position as I am where there are limited funds a month they can blow on random fitness classes and why not have a place to record which classes are completely worth spending the $$ on and which classes are more talk than walk. And that is how Aerobics2Zumba was born.
I'm still working out (no pun intended) how I will be evaluating each class but some of the basics will include:
- Cost per class
- Calories burned and Average heart rate
- Was it worth it?
WARNING! I have no business being a writing as I have a terrible time spelling, often find myself rambling and I think pictures speak louder than words. But if you don't mind my style, then stay tuned. I'm excited.
Bang! And their off!
